The Ron Clark Story

Recent watch:
The Ron Clark Story.

Impacts:

1. Reminded me of Ustazah Haryati - I remember saw her standing patiently outside the exam hall it was distant view but clear enough for me to remember. She doesnt have to, but still she shared the same nervous with us. She was there too when there were just two of her not-so-bright students in the hall answering a rare paper, too memorable to forget.

2. Reminded me of Cikgu Jalini - my Science and Chemistry teacher never miss to catch my sleepy eyes in her class, but never lost her faith on the sleepy boy. "Dream big" trait of Ron Clark lead me to remember her SMS when I first make my step to UMP: "First class! I expect nothing less".

Unfortunately I know too well now, I will entertain her with long answer of: we should change the curricullum, it was female favourable oriented, hands-on learning was a slogan, should be a special class vit B complex deficient students etc etc etc instead of a nice short answer.

3. Reminded me of Cikgu Noraini - most enthusiastic and zestful teacher I ever met. History was so much fun with her around. Her positive energy and aura were too strong to not be influenced by. Evidence: Even the most sleepy-head student was awake with her in the class.

She did not sing like Ron Clark for history subject, but she such a good storyteller that made all-eyes opened and glued to her.
"What's next? More and more please!" is the kind of sensation and atmosphere she will bring in the class.

4. I was terribly slacking these past few days, as a result of the very good progress on my FYP last week. Finished with the solidwork and gambit part. With only the fluent part left I go on jollying, lost to the ever seducing tropical rain and the tempting royal mattress.

TRCS a 2005 TV film but it came to me 4 years later at the edge of 2009.
God all-wise he never hurry a thing. Everything will come at a right time eventually.

I need a real good slap.
TRCS served me good.

Ron Clark made me to remember the glowing and devoted personalities that I had all this years: teachers- above were a few of them to mention. It was awakening to remember all of them.

5. Thanks Matthew Perry for the slap I meant for the inspiring performance of Ron Clark.

Thank Apis for reccommended me TRCS, I had an absolutely entertaining watch. Enlivening and moving movie that you brought me.

Mimi lets hit the lab tomorrow!
Fluent full simulation!
Lets not waste a nano second.

Green Drift

Drift king!

Notes:
Sungai Palas Boh Tea Centre is a must visit spot for those who go to Cameron Highland. Tea and coffee taste better with relaxing air and a sight to behold.

A great spot for reading too while having your sip of fresh tea or coffee with wonderful atmosphere it offer there.

What an event! During my time spent there I got the chance to challenge Mount Akina famous, Takumi Fujiwara with his legendary AE86. Full throttle downhill, ecstasy speed, spectacular drift at the corner and needless to say was an exaggerated imagination, fiction contaminated statements you read.

R.A.Y.M.O.N.D

Seremban Parade, 17 Nov 2009

Notes:
Last time, Ray asked me do I know to play piano as MCR Piano tribute was repeatedly played on air at C10-109 room then, which he found annoyingly came from my loud speaker.

"Of course. I have an organ at my house, and I like to be the one who play the piano at your funeral". I jested.

It was a total joke. First: Mi Re Do song is the only song that I know well to play. Mi re do, mi re do, do do, re re, mi re do: kindergarten song if you must know or I am not the organ person in the house. Secondly: I prefer reciting Yassin and tahlil than playing piano for a funeral.

Now Ray is so much like to disguise as Aliff. Aliff an arabic name that means mesra, jinak, likeable or friendly. I found a good R.A.Y.M.O.N.D when I was at Seremban Parade recently.

It is not compulsory to change name when one revert to Islam as long as his/her name does not bear bad meaning. Nevertheless Aliff is a good name.

Rupa dan Jiwa, Form and Soul

Balai Seni Negara, 30 Nov 2009

Notes:

The last time I went to Balai Seni Negara was with an architect, Iman, as an escort. I am not too artsy to reason my feet there. 'Tribute to the late: Jeri Azhari', was my first taste of art exhibition and not too keen to look for more.

But this time I went on my own, not really intended to go there in the first place.

It happened I have to take Ikhwan to IJN (visit to IJN shall be a good lesson for all smokers out there).

I was intrigued with the name Syed Ahmad Jamal on the buntings along the way to IJN.

As my way back home entwined with the National Art Gallery which lie just opposite IJN, "Pameran Syed Ahmad Jamal: Pelukis", there I came, just to feed my curiosity.

This time I came out learnt a little on form and soul, fascinated, I can enjoy this kind of art and visual language.

Sketch Logbook.

Soul of a form from one of SAJ painting came from Fathir: 27.

"Have you not seen that God sends down rain from the sky? With it We then bring out produce of various colours. And in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue. "

(Fathir 35: 27)

Heaven (Where True Love Goes)

Saturday, November 14, 2009

True love is love that make you closer to god. Apart from that it is just feeling, desire or just lust. I hope mine was written by heaven as true love. A love which never replace the love to the almighty and his prophet in my heart.

I brought her my baju melayu and said the button was tore apart.
"It needs your hands." I said.

But she knew too well.
I went 200 miles, it wasn't the baju melayu but it was me.
I need her to mend me.

On Friday. We went out.
I drove her car.
But it is not because to show how manly I am so I should drive.
It is because: "I want to treat you, so let me do the driving job."
without saying she knew that too.
Although she always prefer to drive the car herself.

But she is the kind of woman who make my words at lost with her contradictory and its not too long before I could hear one of those:

"Thats why I should drive, we get better parking when I drive"
Upon arriving she said.

She is an OKU and always want to make full use of it. She treasures her physical inability (the OKU card status) like a giving from heaven. In term of parking the OKU sticker and card means a parking that is near to the door, VIP equal.

I am new to love and still learning.
I just found the quote 'he love a woman not because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because he loves her' is never so true than before. (special note to Ray: jangan kutuk awek Mimi)

We walked almost every section of the 1st floor, for a photo frame.
Another Venusians trait that I learnt, they love to walk around and see other things (or window shopping they said), before made their mind on a photo frame.
I mean on a thing generally.

There was only one counter opened, on Friday October the 13th at JJ Setiawangsa 1st floor.

For a frame, we lined up.

In front of us was Zhang Zi Yi (i meant a pretty pretty Chinese lady, not the real miss Zhang). But I dont peek too much on that Zhang Zi yi not because my woman was just beside me but because I was book-walking then and so much 'Into the Light' (or for the eleventh time have a re-start reading of ITL).

Only fully aware of the Zhang Zi Yi lady when she offered my woman to take her turn and pay first. If it is in "Beautiful Life" (must watch love story, Japan's best love j-do) the OKU Kyoko will refuse this kind of treatment, but not mine, she thanked the Zhang Zi Yi lady with a smile and more than happy to pay first.

It was last two weeks.
I'm seeing her again this Saturday, and looking forward to read what story she will write in my diary of love then.

The prophet mentioned her name three times, so I must let her hold the pen.
I will do my best as a reader.

"Hello sayang. Apa khabar?"
At 3 a.m in the morning. Text message.

Or 'missing call 'attempts a.k.a panggilan rindu.
At 3 a.m in the morning.

Mostly this kind of text and call come from this one person.

But today at 10.57am when Gambang's sun smiled so brightly on the sky.
Which a bit unusual timing for' this special one' to text.
And as usual a short text message:
"Buy Utusan, to page 24!"

(Source: Utusan)

The special one is at the leftest.
He taught me Arabic and how to rock (nasyid) the school.
"Mabruk ustaz!"

I remember running on the back corridor.

The school is a multiple-story building.

Not the front corridor with concrete barrier passageway i.e safe way but the back corridor with no concrete barrier and on the third floor i.e very dangerous.

Its fun going to the next class through the back window. Heroic!

Young and Dangerous.

Just love to say that: 'Young and Dangerous', sounds like Ekin Cheng.
********

Its raining heavily outside and almost balik time, a situation which means differently for two world.

For most girl it means: wait for the rain stop or call your parent to take you home.
For most boy rain means: shower time or for the hardcore lets slide in the mud.

Couple of little darlings came to my desk.

"Yes, may I help you girls?"

"May we go to the office. We want to call our parents"

My class is on the top floor and the office is on the second floor.

As I just felt what my teacher felt last time or it should be called payback time: saw my fourth grader the boys running on that back corridor.

Which struck an extremely abnormal heartbeat a.k.a I-was-scared-to-death.
Resulting an extra sudden temporary fear of Newton's famous : the gravity.

I insisted,
"Just use my handphone. I have a lot of credit. No need to go to the office."

Its not just a 2 credit hours.
With 5 people in a group it is actually 10credit hours subject, collectively.

We did learn a lot from this subject didn't we?

A priceless lesson of team working.
With tremendous pressure, loads of work: we see the true colors of our nakama.

We grow up didnt we?
Post-mortem should start with ourself.
Me, with unsuccessful simulations.
I don't think I contributed much to the team.
Presented very well and did my best with this one lady lecturer who visit the booth. Ahh.. but unfortunately she is not the evaluator. Can be only good considered as my lame attempt to earn a lady chuckle.

I feel blessed to be apart of the Group 5:

Apis: the calculator of the team. Our MEB expert.

Anak pesisir pintar- Reddu: anchor and the think tank of the team i.e has a talent of convincing the panels i.e kelentong academically- engkau adalah Kucai wan! Mampu jadi ahli politik.

Emma: who I should learn the word punctual and committed from her. And thanks for the Mamees and refreshments. We always looking forward for meeting with the present of makanan free.

Burhan: build the ship model with reddu and a sleepless night running Aspen with me.

Not to forget Dr Abdurrahman H. Nour thanks for your never ending encouragement and also Encik Halim our unofficial advisor.

A great relief.
Its only the beginning.
Yeah! Sail to the open sea!

What maketh a man?

Plant Design!

Next adventure: PD II

I remember after my SPM had an interview by one of most prestigious magazine: the school annual magazine.

One of the reporter (a pretty pretty junior) question was what is my plan and ambition?
I'm not a good speaker. I clown all the time. Included in this interview. I remember gave a weird pose in the photo session. Thank god the sidang redaksi got good common sense of mag journalists, if not it will added another item in my long list of embarassing moment- 'bahan' to be repeated by the Konco-konco Sri Keramat.

Cita-cita saya nak jadi Tukang Cat. My answer.

About the pretty reporter, she is the school proud (we the muggles of normal co-ed school indeed were proud), 2 years later she scored all A's in her SPM and currently pursuing medicine in Cairo. And yes again she really is a brilliant lady. About the published interview- written Hidayat senpai wants to be a:

Jurutera (thanks sis a good write @ good pray. Now am struggling doing simulation & plant design).

Hikari means light in nihonggo. I wrote this I don-know-what-to-name some time ago:

Mural di sekolah 29.06.06

Tukang Cat

Ditemani hikari matahari
Berpagikan kesabaran
dan berpetangkan kesuguhan
-

Dengan baju lusuh
dan seluar compang
menghayun berus,
mencatan dinding
menutup aib karat
pagar dan tembok…
-

kadang hujan
tanpa alamat
Aku kan bermula semula
esok, seperti hari ini,
Ditemani yang girang
hikari matahari
